Pregnancy yoga 

A holistic, empowering approach to pregnancy and birth

Supportive face-to-face pregnancy yoga sessions led by mother of two Faith.

Suitable for all from 14 weeks of pregnancy, no previous yoga experience necessary. 

 

Yoga classes include

  • Yoga postures to relieve aches and pains during pregnancy and to develop strength and flexibility in readiness for labour

  • Breathing techniques to promote calm throughout pregnancy and during birth

  • Pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, visualisation and affirmation for mental stability and resilience

  • Guidance on pelvic floor health

  • Movements to encourage optimal foetal position

  • Yoga philosophy interwoven through some sessions (with a light touch) for overall wellbeing – for you, your bump and beyond.

Useful info

I currently offer Pregnancy yoga workshops as special 'pop up' sessions - either as 75min workshops or half day prenatal retreats.

I also run customised courses, offering a series of more regular sessions to small groups of Mamas-to-be, based on their stages of pregnancy and topics that will support their personal circumstance the most.

Both are held in a friendly and supportive setting with the aim of providing you with tools to take with you on your pregnancy journey.

For all pregnancy yoga sessions you will need a Birthing Ball (anti burst, inflated to 75cm). Yoga mats and blocks are provided.
