Stop juggling. Rest, replenish and rediscover you
Motherhood pulls us in all directions - mentally, emotionally and physically. At some point, we all find we’ve no fuel left in the tank, we’re overwhelmed or depleted. You need some time and space to yourself.
The Replenished Mother provides just that. Here, there are no demands and your only responsibility is to you.

The Yoga is authentic, supportive and breath-led. Gentle but deep, whatever your energy levels, adapting to your needs and taking you however far you want to go in your yoga practice. Hugely restorative, you’ll use mindful movement to reconnect with yourself in tranquil surroundings, dine on nourishing meals, rest in award-winning accommodation and enjoy creative relaxation. You’ll rediscover yourself and return restored.

What to Expect

Rejuvenating yoga
You’ll practice breath-led yoga that works with your energy levels and needs. Sessions ground and bring stability, ease out tension and open you out into a deep sense of space and peace. Faith’s approach is underpinned by ancient concepts that are relevant to motherhood today. You’ll come back to yourself, learn to develop your breath and take away techniques to support you – on the mat and in everyday life.
Sound Healing

Experience the soothing power of an immersive Sound Bath Meditation with Helen Phillips. Beautiful Hand Pans, Hand Drums, Gongs, Tibetan & Crystal Singing Bowls, Chimes and Native Flute combine to create a calming experience bringing a sense of relaxation and peace like no other.
Expert practitioners

Receive deeply restorative Japanese Reflexology from Tamami Benjamin, who brings a wealth of experience in holistic integrated medicine to this retreat. Tam works from the foot to the back of the knee, using reflexology points and nerve endings to release imbalances in the body’s energy (chi) - allowing the body to restore itself. Known for her healing combination of Eastern knowledge, Shiatsu, Western reflexology and lymphatic drainage Tam’s 60 min sessions are available as private bookable add-on treatment (additional charge).
Creative relaxation

As mothers, we often miss doing something just for ourselves or having space to create without interruption. Here there’s chance to unwind through simple, creative relaxation. Creative facilitator Shelley Hutcheon will guide you through lino printing - a satisfying printmaking technique where you carve away a design into linoleum, then ink it and print - as many times as you like. Perfect for beginners, each activity is chosen to suit the season; here we’ll draw inspiration from nature, letting the landscape spark ideas in a fun and peaceful. An invitation to enjoy the simple joy of making!

Meet The Team

Faith Matthews
Motherhood brought Faith to yoga. With a background in broadcasting and the arts, holding down a demanding job alongside new parenthood created stress, overwhelm and a feeling of ‘disconnection’ from herself that eventually led Faith to attend a yoga class. Faith found this breath-led approach so transformative that she fully retrained and is now an established and experienced Viniyoga teacher, sharing its benefits with others. With two daughters, Faith is thankful to have found this breath-led approach to yoga that continues to support her, and as a result those around her, along the path of motherhood. Faith’s classes are often fully booked – she is known for her personal and adaptable approach ensuring you feel supported.

Sandy Cluney
As well as being a Classically Trained Chef with a passion for flavoursome and nutritious vegan food, Sandy is a mother of two, with a Degree in Childhood Studies. Sandy’s passion for using pure natural ingredients to maintain good health, energy and well-being comes through in all the meals she creates with heart and soul.

Helen Phillips
Helen is known for her immersive sound experiences throughout Devon and beyond. Helen is also a mother and grandmother and brings her heart, sensitivity and intuition to this bespoke sound healing. Relax and let go, enveloped by Helen’s spiritually transportive sounds.

Shelley Hutcheon
Shelley weaves creativity into every corner of her life. As head gardener on a rural estate, she spends her days immersed in the nature, and these seasonal rhythms feed directly into her work as a creative facilitator. Shelley brings a calm presence to every group she guides, with her workshops offering a gentle space for reconnection: with creativity, with nature, and with yourself. Born and raised here, she now raises her son in the same countryside that has shaped her, continuing a life rooted in nature and creativity.
Tamami Benjamin
Tam, mother to three boys, originally trained in Japan where she became co-director and principal therapist of the Yojoen Holistic Retreat Centre. Having since requalified in the UK in Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology and Reflexology (with distinction) she is unsurprisingly much in demand. A 60 min treatment with Tam is available as an add-on at the time of booking, with an extra charge.
